I just got to go to this SUPER awesome lecture/lab at the Shedd Aquarium about water conservation and the importance of education on how the health of the ecosystem around us impacts our own health.  The One Health organization is a group working on educating people about the cross-disciplinary importance of human and veterinary medicine as part of our future efforts to conserve and safe.  You can also get more info about how the Shedd is working to help preserve and clean our Great Lakes (20% of the world’s fresh water!) here and here.  Everything we do impacts someone or something else and we all need to wake up and realize that there a million different small ways we can change that!

Also I got to pet a zebra shark, so basically best day ever :)
